BATHYMETRIC CHART OF THE AZORE PLATEAU

The Azore Plateau (left on the chart) located in the North Atlantic Ocean. Between the Azore Plateau and the main continents, smaller landmasses appear possible. The westernmost shores of the continents of Europe and Africa are on the right. Atlantis was said to be eleven days sail to the west of Gibraltar.
